Who can use Masraf Al Rayan Online?
Any individual customer of Masraf Al Rayan who has an ATM Card or Covered Card will be able to use in Masraf Al Rayan Online.
In the case of Covered Cards, only the primary card holder can use Internet Banking, since the supplementary card holder does not have the authority to access the card details.
How can I enroll to Masraf Al Rayan Online?
You need either your “Masraf Al Rayan ATM Card number and TPIN” or your “Masraf Al Rayan Covered Card number and TPIN” for Masraf Al Rayan Online enrollment. Telephone Identification Number (TPIN) can be obtained by calling our Call Center on +974 4425 3333.
To enroll into Masraf Al Rayan Online, you need to click on the Register link at the top left hand section of the screen above the ‘Sign into your account’ box.
How do I get a TPIN (Telephone Personal Identification Number) if I don’t have one?
This is very simple. Please call +974 4425 3333 (if you are in Qatar) or +974 4425 3333 (if you are outside Qatar). Select the language of your choice (Arabic or English) then choose Account Holder Services (Option 1) then enter your card number and follow the instructions to connect to one of our customer service officers.
The Customer Service Officer will ask you questions to verify your identity and then assist you in creating a TPIN, which you can use to enroll to Internet Banking
Do I need to enroll again?
No. Once enrolled successfully, you can go ahead and Log On every time, without having to enroll again
Can I select my own user-id and password?
Yes, during enrollment you will be asked to create your own user-id and password. The user ID should be 8 – 20 alpha or alphanumeric and password should be 8 – 20 alphanumeric.
Can I change my user-id later on if I want to?
No. Once a user id is created, it cannot be changed.
What happens if I forget my user-id or password?
If you forget your password, you can reset your password by clicking on the Forgot Password link available in the ‘Sign into your account’ box.

Can I begin using Online Banking immediately?
Once you have created your username and password you can start using Masraf Al Rayan Online immediately.
Can I send e-mails to the Bank?
In Masraf Al Rayan Online, there is a facility - Enquiries and Suggestions - enabling you to send inquiries and post suggestions to the bank. This facility is available under the Services & Rates Tab.
Can I print Internet banking pages?
A print button is available on relevant screens of Masraf Al Rayan Online. For example, E-receipts for all transactions made, account history etc.
Can I update information about myself online?
You can do so by accessing the Contact Information page under the Preferences tab.

You can log on again, and check if the transfer was debited from your account or card. In addition, if you have subscribed to SMS Alert services, you will receive an SMS notifying you of the transaction if it went through. You can view all Covered card details as well as all transactions pertaining to your current and savings accounts.
Can I make third party transfers involving Foreign Exchange?
Third party transfers (Domestic/International Transfers) can be made after you have applied for the functionality.printed, signed and sent the Third Party Transfers application form to Masraf Al Rayan. Once the Bank enables third party transfers on your accounts, you will receive a Third Party Code through SMS, which you need to use to perform third party transfers.
How can I apply for third party payment functionality?
You can apply for third party functionality by clicking on Third party payments under the Security tab. Once you have filled out the form, you will need to print it out, sign it and send it to the nearest Masraf Al Rayan branch. The maximum amount allowed per day is QAR 50,000. You will receive SMS which will provide you with a temporary secret code. This secret code will be required to enable the third party payments the next time you log in. Masraf Al Rayan Online will prompt you to change the third party secret code at the first login after receiving the secret code through SMS.
Are there transfer limits for Internet Banking?
Currently the Daily Transfer limits is allowed up to QAR 500,000 within your own accounts. Daily transfer limits are set up when you apply for third party payments. Decrease of limits can be done online. However, a subsequent increase would require a written request. You can increase and decrease these limits on the forms available under the security tab.
What proof do I receive for transfers made via Internet Banking?
Confirmations of all successful transactions will be displayed on the screen with a unique reference number. You can also print out an e- receipt as proof of a transaction.
COMMON DOWNLOAD PROBLEMS
I get an error “Internet Explorer cannot download AccountHistory.aspx from https://ebanking.alrayan.com ” when I click on the Download button in the Account Statement ScreenThis is a known issue in some versions of Internet Explorer. More information about this issue can be found at the URL below.
