Accounts – My Accounts

This page provides the finance summary information (Available Balance, Currency, Amount Due, Limit etc. for different type(s) of MAR Accounts) of all your Savings & Current account(s) / Term Deposit(s), Credit Card(s) & Finance(s) (Murabaha, Musawama, Ijarah), if any linked to your profile.

Question – What should I do if I have a joint account with MAR along with an individual current / savings account?

Answer - In case you have a joint account, the same will be displayed under Savings / Current Account. If the same is not visible, please give a written request in the nearest MAR branch for linking your joint account either with your Savings Account, Current Account or Credit Card. Once linked, you can view / carry out transaction from your joint account using the same Internet Banking login.

Question – Where can I view the detailed transaction(s) report of my Savings / Current / Credit Card / Finances?

Answer - To view detailed transaction statement of any account, click on the Account Number (for savings / current / joint / term deposit) / Card Number (for credit cards) / Finance Account Number (Murabaha, Musawama, Ijarah), in ‘My Accounts’ page (under ‘ACCOUNTS’ menu), which will redirect you to the ‘Detailed Account Statement’ page giving transaction history of the respective Account (up to 1 year). After clicking on the respective account,

·         Accounts (Savings, Current & Term Deposit Account)

ü  You can download the Transaction history in .PDF Format or MS Excel by Selecting ‘OUTPUT’ as ‘DOWNLOAD’, selecting any one option from the dropdown besides ‘OUTPUT’ (PDF, Excel) and pressing the button – ‘GET TRANSACTION HISTORY’ below it.

ü  In case funds are blocked (due to banking of loan installment), the ‘DETAIL’ button at the bottom left of the page will give the blocked funds / uncleared funds amount.

ü  For Term Deposit, you can view details like term deposit tenure, term deposit opening date, maturity date etc.

·         Credit Cards (Primary, Supplementary)

ü  You can view the details of any of your MAR credit card (Primary / Supplementary) - Details, Past Statement, Pending Transaction etc. You can also access this page by going to ‘CARDS’ Menu (located on the top) and selecting ‘MY CARDS’.

·         Finances (Murabaha, Musawama, Ijarah)

ü  You can view the paid and unpaid amount detail(s) of your respective finances.

ü  You can also download the finance statement by selecting format as PDF or EXCEL from the dropdown at the bottom-right of the page & then pressing the ‘DOWNLOAD’ button below it.

Question – What is meant by ‘Last 5 transaction activities in Internet Banking’ seen at the bottom of this page?

Answer – Apart from the above account summary, the last 5 activities performed by you on MAR Internet Banking are also shown at the bottom of this page & is referred as ‘Last 5 transaction activities in Internet Banking’. In case you want to see the details of these activities, please go to ‘SERVICES’ Menu (on the top of the screen) & select ‘INTERNET TRANSACTION ACTIVITIES’.

 

Accounts - My Portfolio

Through the “My Portfolio” Page, you can view a consolidated summary of balance(s) for all your relationships with Masraf Al Rayan.

 

 

Accounts – Account Opening – Term Deposit

Masraf Al Rayan gives you the flexibility by allowing you to open a term deposit ‘online’ without the hassle of visiting branch.

Investment Term – You can select an investment term (term deposit tenure) of 3, 6, 12 or 24 months.

Accounts – You can select any one savings / current account of yours to deduct the money. Please ensure that you have sufficient balance (minimum QAR 20,000 required for opening a term deposit) in that account when you are executing this transaction. There is no upper limit (amount) to open a term deposit, provided you have sufficient balance in your savings / current account.

You can open term a deposit only on primary account holder’s name. You can open multiple term deposits on the same working day using MAR Internet Banking.

Cut Off Time – Any term deposit requested after cut off time (9 PM Qatar Local Time) will be processed on the next ‘working’ day automatically (Government holidays, Fridays & Saturdays are excluded from the working days).

Your funds will NOT be blocked if your request has been received after cut off time. You can only open a QAR term deposit from a QAR account only from MAR Internet Banking.

On the next working day, the system will process this request automatically only if you have sufficient balance in your savings / current account you selected to open the term deposit. If the balance is insufficient, the request will be automatically rejected and you will be required to give a new request.

Once the request is processed, you can view your term deposit account details immediately on the landing page of Internet Banking or under ‘MY ACCOUNTS’ (present in ‘ACCOUNTS’ Menu)

Repayment Account – You can select any savings / current accounts of yours at the time of opening of term deposit, to transfer principal and profit once the term deposit matures.

*You need to correctly answer a random security question (created by you) & accept the ‘terms and conditions’ of term deposit account opening before your request is sent to us for processing.

 

Cheque Book Request

To order a Cheque book for any of your Current Accounts from Internet Banking, all that you need to do is:

1.       Select the Current Account (from the list of accounts appearing on the screen) for which you want to order a cheque book.

2.       Select the preferred branch for delivery.

3.       Press ‘Continue’ once you have selected the above 2 parameters.

4.       Review the information appearing on the new (2^nd) screen. If Ok, press ‘Continue’ to submit the request, else press ‘modify’ or ‘back’ button to go back to the initial screen.

5.       Once the request is submitted, the transaction reference number & CRM reference number will appear on your screen. Please note them for future reference.

You can walk in to the MAR branch where you wanted your cheque book to be delivered, after 2 working days of placing the request.

Note: MAR reserves the right to reject your cheque book request.
